The PS5 Pro has officially replaced my gaming PC, and if you’re asking yourself PS5 Pro or PC gaming, which one is the better buy in 2026, the PlayStation 5 Pro really holds more value than a gaming PC. At the very least, a PC is going to cost you more than the PS5 Pro, and the PS5 Pro power is so high that you can run all your games at 4K 60fps or even higher frame rates at lower resolutions. That said, if you’re doing various things on a PC like editing, and you don’t mind dropping a lot of cash, then a gaming PC is the way to go. Gamers are always debating gaming console or gaming PC, but with how far PlayStation has come—specifically the PlayStation 5 Pro—it’s a tough call. For me, I’m picking the PS5 Pro for gaming, mainly because PlayStation exclusives are the peak of single-player experiences and they won’t be coming to PC anymore.
