After two’ish years in early access, Fields of Mistria has finally reached its 1.0 full release with plenty of new additional content to help commemorate the occasion and keep cozy sim fans entertained. Along with the highly-anticipated updates to romance questlines in the game, there are also new local quests to pick up to help continue restoring Mistria to its former glory.

One of those Town Improvement Quests is the Repair the Bell Tower quest, which has you finally get the chance to repair the town’s abandoned bell tower that’s remained shuttered for some time. If you’re wondering how to go about getting started on it, here’s how to complete the Repair the Bell Tower quest in Fields of Mistria.

How to Unlock Repair the Bell Tower Quest in Fields of Mistria

To unlock the Repair the Bell Tower quest in Fields of Mistria, there are a couple of pre-requisites that you’ll need to take care of first. In all, you need to make sure you’ve completed the following:

Complete the “Meet the New Vendors” quest (unlocks after you complete the “Expanding the Saturday Market” quest)
Reach Town Rank Level 90 (Diamond Rank)

Remember that you need to earn Renown points to increase your overall Town Rank, and the best, most consistent methods to do that include donating new items to the museum, completing requests for the locals, and depositing items into your shipping box to be sold before the end of the day.

Once you’ve satisfied those requirements, you should receive a letter from Zorel in the mail at your house to unlock this quest.

How to Complete Repair the Bell Tower Quest in Fields of Mistria

After you’ve completed the aforementioned requirements to unlock the quest, watch for letter from Zorel to arrive in your mailbox. Remember to proceed to the next day to facilitate progress to the next quest.

In the letter from Zorel, she’ll ask you to meet her, Adeline, and Landen at the Bell Tower on the west side of town. Once there, interact with them to trigger a cutscene to discuss the possibility of repairing the bell tower, which up to this point has been locked up tight.

Similar to other repair and restoration quests in the game, you’ll be asked to gather and then deposit certain crafting materials into a Donation Box. In this case, the box in question is set up right outside the Bell Tower, so keep that in mind when you’re ready to contribute materials.

To progress the quest, you’ll need to deposit the following materials:

20 x Refined Stone
30 x Hardwood
1 x Dragon-Forged Fang (can only be crafted at the Dragon Forge in the Ancient Ruins)
1 x Dragon-Forged Core ((can only be crafted at the Dragon Forge in the Ancient Ruins)

Once you’ve satisfied that objective, go and speak to Adeline wherever she is on that given day (or the following day if need be). You’ll then be treated to a cutscene to show the results of your efforts, and you’ll receive 50 x Renown along with access to the interior of the Bell Tower itself. Also, you’ll unlock the Ringing Ovation achievement for completing the repair job.
