Someone on Reddit set up an automated outbound system for his buddy’s 3-person marketing agency. Before that, he explains…
their whole strategy was posting on instagram and hoping someone would reach out. spoiler: nobody reached out
The system took 2 weeks to build. Tool cost: $200-300/mo. Result for the agency: 0 booked calls → 15-20 per month, 4 new clients closed in 2 months.
Here’s the 6-step setup 👇
- List building – targets pulled weekly from a lead database, filtered by intent signals (job postings, funding rounds)
- Infrastructure – separate sending domains, multiple inboxes, automated warmup, auto-pause on deliverability dips
- AI personalization – first line per lead generated from real company data
- Follow-ups – 2-3 email sequences triggered by opens and replies
- Reply routing – AI categorises replies; only positive ones reach the owner’s phone
- Booking – interested prospects sent straight to a calendar page
He targeted tree service, plumbing, and construction companies for his buddy. He says his average ticket for building the same system for paying clients is $3-7K 🤑
The kicker: there’s no sci-fi AI in the setup at all 👇
no AI agents. no chatbots. no fancy demo. just emails going to the right people at the right time with the right message
Pick one niche, build it once, sell it to small agencies or local service businesses on a setup fee + retainer 🔥
