Her Goat Business Earns Six Figures a Year

Deborah Niemann teaches people how to raise goats, with 700+ articles, a podcast and a YouTube channel 🐐

The content is free, and the money comes from goat owners who want more help.

Online courses and a membership called Goats 365 ($19–$29 a month) bring in 70% of her income 💰

The membership started with 20 people in 2019 and now has 150.

Most pay for premium, which adds three live Q&A calls a month.

She explains why those calls matter…

We are dealing with live animals and you can’t tell the goats, ‘Hey, could you just hold off on dying?’

Altogether it’s a six-figure business, according to a recent interview.

Her most loyal members now pay to travel with her too.

Her first trip, a week of goat farms, cheesemakers and wineries in Portugal, costs $5,500 per person 🤯

With up to 12 people, that’s as much as $66K a trip, though presumably hotels and meals eat a big chunk of it.

Deborah started blogging about her farm in 2006, so it’s a long game.
