President Trump just took the most disruptive action of the entire Clarity Act fight — and almost no one in crypto is connecting the dots yet. On June 24, 2026, he abruptly canceled the signing ceremony for the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act (which passed Senate 85-5 and House 358-32) and declared he will not sign ANY bill until Congress passes the SAVE America Act, his voter-ID bill that doesn’t have the 60 votes to clear a Senate filibuster. Eleanor Terrett confirmed it. Coin Bureau confirmed it. Schwab’s Adam Lynch is warning of “no progress until 2028 or 2029” if Clarity slips. Galaxy’s Alex Thorn just cut his 2026 passage odds to 50/50.
In this video I break down EXACTLY how Trump’s SAVE Act ultimatum could doom the Clarity Act — and what it means for XRP, Ripple, and RLUSD heading into the July 13 → August 7 window.
What you’ll learn:
▸ Trump’s exact quote: “Today’s Housing Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT”
▸ Why the SAVE Act has NO PATH to 60 Senate votes — meaning the blockade could last weeks
▸ The 16 legislative days left before August recess (per Coin Bureau)
▸ Adam Lynch (Schwab): “I don’t see any progress until 2028 or 2029” if missed
▸ Galaxy’s Alex Thorn: odds cut to 50/50
▸ Anna Paulina Luna’s House floor blockade — collateral damage to Clarity Act floor time
▸ Section 604 ethics + Trump family’s $2.3B crypto holdings = double-blocker
▸ What veto-proof 85-5 majority + pocket veto risk means for crypto policy
▸ Honest XRP price outlook through July 13 → August 7
