Amazon is putting on a huge 4K UHD movie sale right now, and there are some of the best films from last year, as well as several all-timers up for grabs. The deal is simple: it’s three films for $33.

Considering streamers are just getting worse, and definitely can’t be trusted to have all your favorites, building up that 4K Blu-ray collection should absolutely be a priority for all us film buffs going forward.

There’s a whole bunch of recent releases, like Superman, Nobody 2, F1: The Movie, and Wicked, that should get you started comfortably, but that’s just the tip of my metaphorical iceberg. Superman was my top film from last year, and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to check out Supergirl this year, and I’ve been happily reading through Absolute Superman over the holidays as well. Trust me when I say this film rocks; it’s like watching a Saturday morning cartoon, with all the thrills, wild pacing, and campy comic book fun dialed up to eleven. Kubrick movies on the list include A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Spartacus, and the aforementioned Stephen King adaptation The Shining. Other King adaptations include Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.
Horror movies are well represented here, with stand-outs like Nope, Final Destination: Bloodlines, Companion, and the previously mentioned Weapons, which happens to be one of the best films from last year.
