SEBI Warns Investors: Crypto Risky, Corporate Bonds Safer Option

The SEBI Chairman has warned that while many people are aware of cryptocurrencies, very few understand corporate bonds. Cryptocurrencies are unregulated and highly risky investments, where money can rise and fall very quickly. In contrast, corporate bonds are considered safer and offer fixed returns similar to fixed deposits. According to a SEBI survey, more than 90 percent of investors in Futures and Options end up losing money, while many investors rely on social media reels, YouTube videos, and WhatsApp tips from financial influencers without proper knowledge.

Decode With Sudhir Chaudhary : इस वीडियो में हम उन करोड़ों निवेशकों को अलर्ट कर रहे हैं जो अपनी मेहनत की कमाई सोना-चांदी, शेयर बाजार या क्रिप्टो-करेंसी में निवेश करते हैं। SEBI के चेयरमैन ने कहा है कि देश में लोग क्रिप्टो-करेंसी के बारे में तो जानते हैं, लेकिन कॉरपोरेट बॉन्ड्स को लेकर जागरूकता बेहद कम है। क्रिप्टो-करेंसी में कोई रेगुलेशन नहीं है और यह बेहद जोखिमभरा निवेश है, जहां पैसा जितनी तेजी से बढ़ता है उतनी ही तेजी से डूब भी सकता है। इसके मुकाबले कॉरपोरेट बॉन्ड्स ज्यादा सुरक्षित हैं और फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट की तरह तय रिटर्न देते हैं। SEBI के सर्वे में यह भी सामने आया है कि Futures और Options में निवेश करने वाले 90 फीसदी से ज्यादा लोग नुकसान में रहते हैं, जबकि सोशल मीडिया और फाइनेंशियल इंफ्लुएंसर्स के टिप्स पर लोग बिना जानकारी के निवेश कर रहे हैं।
