There is a lot going on in Pragmata. After everything goes to hell on the moon, Hugh and Diana are forced to work together to take down an army of androids to escape. Among these androids are bosses that can give you a run for your money.
While there are only six bosses in the game, with most of them having an enhanced version, they aren’t easy to take down, and they require some good weapons, mods, and coordination. Despite the bosses having a strict story order, some of them can prove to be a bit more difficult than others, so let’s break down which ones are the biggest hurdles to overcome.
We will be ranking these bosses based on their base game variations, as the enhanced versions are the same fight, just with the bosses having a bit more health.
6
The Creator
Slow and Bulky
The Creator is the behemoth you fight at the end of the Mass Production Array location. This is the area that looks like New York City and is covered in Capcom easter eggs. When you finally reach the end of this area, this hulking brute drops from the sky, and you might be thinking it will be difficult, but you’d be wrong.
The Creator is massive, but that also means it is generally slow. While it does have some fast maneuvers, they are well telegraphed, making them easy to see coming.
The biggest annoyance during the fight is that the boss will bring up a shield, protecting it from being hacked, but all you need to do is destroy the generators on its body to disable the shield, which is something you can do in a minute with little effort. This boss is definitely more theatrical than a threat.
5
Sector Guard
Missile Volleys and Slams
The Sector Guard is the first boss in the game, and the boss you end up fighting in the Solar Power Plant. Here, you’ve just met Diana, barely been able to establish a bond, and are expected to take down a robot that looks like something from Transformers.
Despite this robot being on the larger side, it moves rather quickly, with it having a move that allows it to launch itself across the arena. This can take you off guard if you lose track of the boss, as it likes to use this move multiple times in a row.
To make matters worse, the main location to damage this boss is its back, meaning you need to get behind it to do any real damage. Additionally, this boss loves to fire missiles in a large AOE around it, requiring you to run for your life unless you want to be blown to smithereens.
4
Luna Digger
Don’t Get Grabbed
The Luna Digger establishes itself as a threat early on in the Lunum Mines, appearing early on in the level, and requiring you to spend your time dodging it as it digs around the moon’s surface. At the end of the level, you finally get to take the fight back to the Luna Digger, and it can be pretty tough.
You initially have platforms to stand on in the arena, but those are quickly taken out by the massive robot worm, requiring you to be on the ground as it digs around you. Hacking this boss is more difficult than it sounds thanks to its constant movement, forcing you to restart your hack if you accidentally get hit or keep it going by repositioning yourself.
Along with this, if you get too close to the boss’ head, it can eat you, requiring you to run through a rather fast hack or suffer the consequences. This is a boss that will make you think on your feet more. Just be sure to redirect the burrowing missiles when it launches them.

3
Garden Keeper
A Relentless Scorpion
The Garden Keeper is the boss of the Terra Dome, and it looks like a massive scorpion. This boss has many limbs, a large laser, and huge AOE attacks that require you to react quickly.
This boss requires you to get use out of the Stasis Net to slow it down, as its quick movements can easily throw off your hacking, requiring you to start over. In addition to this, the Garden Keeper has multiple nodes that you must go around while hacking, making it more difficult than other enemies to force open and damage properly.
About halfway through the fight, the boss will start jumping around erratically and will even shoot lasers from its tail, making it even more of an annoyance than it was at the start. It is a neat fight, but boy can it be tricky to deal with.
2
Centurion Prime
Gundam
This isn’t the first run-in you will have with Centurion Prime, but it will be the last… Unless you take on all the hidden sector challenges. Anyway, after escaping this boss once, it makes a reappearance, but this time it is corrupted.
Throughout the fight, you will need to use Diana’s abilities to cleanse the robot of the corruption or else hacking it will be much more difficult. Thanks to its fast movements and Gundam-like swords, that is easier said than done, requiring some good timing, or you will get punished.
Its fast-paced attacks can be difficult to dodge, especially while hacking, making auto-hack very useful during the fight. This fight is constant pressure that will definitely test your skills compared to previous bosses in the game, and it is a great skill check leading up to the game’s final boss.
1
IDUS (Eight)
Skill Mastery
When you reach the end of the game, Eight has shown her true colors, and IDUS has taken control, turning Eight into a monstrosity. Luckily, you have been training up to this point, and you should have the tools to handle this boss.
IDUS is no joke, with hacking that requires you to dodge damaging nodes, maneuver around lasers, and avoid corruption. It can be tough just to break through the cold exterior. Along with this, IDUS moves quickly like Centurion Prime, which is annoying when you have to cleanse them of corruption as well.
To make things even worse, near the end of the fight, there are massive AOE attacks going off that require you to constantly be on the move. This fight will use all of your skills you have gained up to this point and then some.
