Rashid Khasanov
- Founder of Angel Match
- $26,250 monthly recurring revenue
Rashid Khasanov sells startup founders access to a database of 125K angel investors and VCs 💰
They pay a monthly subscription to filter it by industry, stage and location, then email investors straight from the app.
It started as a list he and a friend built by hand while trying to save their first startup, which died anyway.
When we featured Rashid in 2024, Angel Match was making $11K a month.
It’s now at $26K a month from 324 subscribers 🤑
Back at around $3K a month, he hired six writers and had his small team build free tools for founders. (You could probably do all that solo with AI now.)
It took six to eight months for search traffic to kick in, and SEO still brings in about half the revenue.
Meta ads later took it as high as $43K a month, before it fell back.
His advice, from a recent interview…
You should be patient, put in the work and never give up, because there were founders who were starting with me at that time and they were making a lot, a lot more than what we are making right now, but they gave up and I don’t see them anymore.
No clever tech here, just data that’s a pain to collect, sold to people who need it badly.
Pick a group with money on the line, collect the data they hate hunting down, put it behind a login, and give SEO at least six months 😎
