100 Most Cited Domains in Google’s AI Mode

We analyzed our Brand Radar database of 5.5 million AI Mode queries to identify the domains that appear most often in Google’s AI Mode responses.

These are the 100 most cited domains, along with their number of mentions.

The top domains cited in AI Mode are Wikipedia, YouTube, Google’s blog, Reddit, and Google itself.

With so many mentions of YouTube, their own blog, and themselves, AI Mode seems to be quite self-serving, at least at this point in time.

AI Mode also seems to prefer user-generated content (UGC), with sites like YouTube, Reddit, Quora, Instagram, Yelp, TripAdvisor, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more high on the list.

Google does not seem like they intend to make the data for AI Mode available. So, to track your brand’s presence in AI Mode, you’ll have to use a tool like Ahrefs’ Brand Radar.
